Judicial Review
If your application gets refused, there might be other options available to you like reconsideration request, judicial review or re-apply
If you think that decision made on your application is not fair or an error has happened or facts have not been considered in making the final decision, you can appeal to the federal court of Canada. This should be the last resort , it is costly and there are a lot of deadlines imposed in the application. To take your judicial review to the Federal Court, you need a lawyer.
The role of the court is not to grant you a visa or permit, but to decide whether to allow or dismiss your judicial review. If the court agrees with the original decision of the immigration officer, the decision stays. Otherwise, the court will return the case to the officer to be reconsidered.
